Um projecto de cooperação internacional coordenado pelo Consórcio da Ribera (link) e financiado com dois milhões de euros pela Comissão Europeia para a criação de um sistema de gestão de resíduos num distrito da ilha de São Tomé e Príncipe, que inclui a capital, com o objectivo de melhorar as políticas ambientais da zona, evitar a degradação e os problemas sanitários gerados pelos aterros não controlados e, ao mesmo tempo, combater a pobreza através da criação de empregos verdes através da criação de quatro pequenas estações de compostagem comunitária e duas de reciclagem para que a população possa ver os resultados do esforço colectivo na recolha selectiva e no apoio à criação de empresas que promovam a utilização dos recursos e, desta forma, a economia circular.


The project wants to promote entrepreneurship in the agricultural field and facilitate the transmission and adoption of new production processes and new business models based on concepts such as open source, FabLab, 3D printing and 3D tools, virtual reality, open innovation, observation of jobs, coworking.



EASE aims to establish the benefits or potential benefits of Education for adult refugees, namely in a specific area core to job creation and social inclusion. The main target are refugee women. So, the project goal is to facilitate the integration of refugee women in the labour market through entrepreunership. Co-funded by the Eramus+ program of the European Union.


ALTERNATIVA aims to facilitate the transfer of good practices and social enterprise ideas, strengthen the community spirit and increase the motivation for participation in the society by creating a collection of existing local social entrepreneurship initiatives from each country and foster a common understanding of the social entrepreneurship field at european level. NEXT DOOR aims to promote social capital within neighbourhoods, fostering protection of elderly citizens & increasing levels of self-esteem & quality of life. NEXT DOOR relies on development of skills of professionals working for community at local level, improving technical & social competences to support better job performance & their contribution to cohesive region, putting together community organisations & training providers. ELP Transport is a Strategic Partnership aimed at developing innovative outputs in the field of Vocational Training for Local Public Transport System (LPTS), developed transnationally and on the basis of a coordinated action among research, LTPSs businesses, VET providers and local communities. Is co-funded by Erasmus + project of the European Union.


ESCAPE 2 aims to develop a common strategy of participating countries to make effective the impact on local communities and economy and encourage the transnational cooperation and networking of all actors with local/regional and national authorities with competencies in tourism. WATT ELSE project groups a network of actors representing firms, universities, training organizations, local authorities and employment organizations of all over Europe with the aim of fostering the development of the energy field of activity on its employment area. In a context of mutation of energy production, this consortium aims to help the participant territories and its local stakeholders to adapt to these new environmental and competitiveness challenges.


The LIFE REPTES project “Renewable bio-hydrogen production technologies from lignocellulosic waste and sewage sludge co-fermentation” aims to reduce the massive emission of greenhouse gases (GHG) and particles derived from the burning of rice straw, which affects the quality of life of nearby populations, through the implementation of a new circular model that integrates the production of biohydrogen from pre-treated lignocellulosic by-products and WWTP sludge through a dark fermentation process.

The DigTourism project aims to find new VET training solutions to improve the skills of civil servants and professionals working with municipalities/public administrations in the field of tourism, in order to expand the leisure offer in sustainable tourist attractions. In this way, it will contribute to the search for training needs in the field of sustainable tourism among public and private professionals in the Ribera region.

The #e-COOP project, 2022-1-SK01-KA220-VET-0000855, aims to promote cooperation projects on energy and environmental issues among public bodies, private companies and citizens in general. It aims to provide key tools for understanding the role of energy cooperatives in energy transition processes in rural areas through a flexible training programme that helps to close existing gaps in the management of energy transition processes in rural areas.

DigiFABS aims to foster digital, resilience and innovation sills to optimize the management of digital transformation in SMEs in the Food an Beverage processing sector.
