RANSMIC-VET (Transforming micro-destinations through C-VET: enhancing governance, collaboration, and sustainable growth) is a European project that aims to transform micro-destinations with governance mechanisms and digital and ecological transition strategies, equipping policymakers, tourism professionals, and small business owners with the skills and tools they need to collaborate and build thriving small communities that can reap the benefits of tourism, promote local tourism, and mitigate the drawbacks of mass tourism.
The overall objective of the TRANSMIC-VET project is to contribute, through continuing vocational training, to the empowerment of entrepreneurs, local policy makers, community leaders, and
micro-destinations, improving their governance capacities, fostering collaboration, and enabling the sustainable development of tourism.
It is a project led by Region Halland -Kultur and Halland (Sweden) in which the Consorci de la Ribera, Swdem Emilia Romagna Network (Italy), Svensk Destination sutveckling AB (Sweden), and L’Altra Romagna SCARL (Italy) also participate as partners.
