EMMA project (European training systeM aiMed at smAll and medium-sized municipalities for the management of volunteers in climate disaster relief operations) is to simplify and accelerate the response of small and medium-sized European municipalities in the event of a disaster.
For this, the pecific Objectives are Equip small and medium-sized European municipalities with a training system aimed at civil servants involved in managing common citizens volunteers for disaster relief operations, provide a toolkit that civil servants can use to coordinate common citizen volunteers and provide guidelines to policymakers.
